I previously worked at a university for over 5 years as a Senior Instructional Technology Consultant. I provided support and training to faculty and staff wanting to integrate technology in their face-to-face, blended/hybrid, and online courses or trainings.

I also provided consultations on quality course design based on instructional design best practices and my own personal experiences in designing and delivering professional development courses.

I started my education career at a community college taking notes for learners with disabilities. Soon after, I specialized in designing face-to-face, blended/hybrid, online, and correspondence (CD-ROM) courses.

I worked in higher education with an emphasis on educational technology for over 10 years. I focused primarily on online teaching and learning, although I also taught faculty, staff, and students' best practices and tips for succeeding in an online teaching and learning environment.

I believe self-care is important to one's health and value of life. I'm a workaholic and often forget to take breaks, leading to some health issues a couple years ago. I took a hiatus from the workforce to focus on my own self-care.

​

I also believe life-long learning and continuous self-improvement are exceptionally important. Therefore, I continued to build my skills in several different areas during my hiatus.

In my free time I enjoy doing arts and crafts projects, researching mobile technology news, playing with robotic learning toys (Cozmo), gaming, and more.
